After working as a print reporter and editor, Faith was invited to begin
an interview show on Connecticut Public Radio. Two Peabody awards later,
she convinced her bosses to let her try a show called The Faith Middleton
Food Schmooze Party (R). The first guest, chef Carole Peck, marched in
the door carrying a tall, freshly baked coconut cake on a platter, and
The Food Schmooze Party was an instant hit. It ended its run on WNPR
in 2019. But In 2021, Faith and her beloved gang, Chris Prosperi,
Mark Raymond, and Jo-Ann Church, decided to begin it
again, this time as an independent podcast, available worldwide. In
2022 veteran podcaster and keto foodie Carl Franklin joined the gang, and now
they are producing a new podcast episode most every week.
Middleton is the recipient of countless awards, a television host
and author, was inducted into the Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame
along with photographer Annie Liebowitz, and is the recipient of
two honorary doctorates. She taught a class called The Art of the
Interview at Yale University.
