Joann's Maple-Roasted Beets and Carrots

Chop beets and carrots and place on baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast for 40 minutes at 425F. Remove from oven. Toss with butter and maple syrup, then return to the oven for 5-10 more minutes.
